Great events in the life of Christ are shown in the windows on both sides of the sanctuary. On the right side of the sanctuary, events in His adulthood are shown.
Jesus and Joseph at Nazareth Window
The window closest to the sanctuary shows Jesus as a boy with St. Joseph His foster father working in the carpenter shop in Nazareth. St. Joseph is honored as Christ's guardian on March 19th, and hailed as the "Patron of workers" on May 1st.
Jesus Calling the Apostles Window
The middle window shows Christ calling His Apostles (Luke 6:12-16).
Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem Window
The third window depicts Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Mark 11:1-11). This event is celebrated on Passion Sunday, often called Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, just prior to Easter.
