The windows in the clerestory (the upper part of the church), depict the Angels of God. This section will show all the colorful windows that honor one of God's creations, His Angels.
Created before the universe, the Angels are God's messengers who attend upon His divine presence in Heaven and bring His messages to His people on earth.
The Angels are organized in "choirs", nine choirs to be exact. The brightly colored windows of St. Justin Martyr Parish depict them as singing God's praises while enlightening the world with the seven branch candelabra so rich in Old Testament symbolism.
The feast of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael is celebrated on September 29th. Guardian Angels are also honored on October 2nd.
